I have a blog that I host myself on a Debian Virtual Server running wordpress 2.7 with my own homegrown MU extension. I appreciate the GT offering me a community blog but I don't have time to maintain yet another one in the high style to which my blogs have been accustomed. What I do like is in-links to my existing blog. So I am including a widget that points to the latest posts on my own blog that I totally control. Of course this is widgety javascriptey so there is no link love here. But I'd be tickled if the titles of any of my blog posts inspired you enough to do an actual honest-to-goodness (OMG here it comes) Clickthrough!

Your faithful dork recently had to be hospitalized for surgery. Everything went well and full recovery is expected, but I did get a midline incision that incapacitated my core until it heals. You use your core for EVERYTHING, so that nasty little side effect could not clear up too soon! [...]
